Children ,Young People and Vulnerable Adults
The Clergy and the Parochial Church Council have adopted the Diocesan and Church of England Policies and Procedures regarding the safeguarding of children, young people and vulnerable adults and those in abusive relationships.
If you are concerned that a child , a young person or a vulnerable adult has been harmed or is at risk of harm, then contact the Parish
Safeguarding Officer Dick Fawn on 01252 627455
or to our Vicar - Rev. Alwyn Pereira on 07767 702094
We aim to provide a safe environment where all children and young people are nurtured and protected, and where all are able to worship and pursue their faith journey with encouragement and in safety.
We aim to follow "Promoting a Safer Church", the Church of England's Safeguarding Policy for children, young people and adults in all our work with children, young people and vulnerable adults.
The Diocese of Guildford also employ a Safeguarding Advisor and has fully documented policies and procedures - full details can be found through the Guildford Diocesan Website
which can be accessed through the Links Page on this website.
The Parochial Church Council also encourages Whistle Blowing and undertakes to give full legal and personal protection to anyone who raises any concern regarding the safeguarding of children, and young adults and vulnerable adults.
